This wedding in Washington, DC was so much fun to be a part of!  Courtney and Greg are a really fun couple that wanted their whole family out on the dance floor with them.  With lots of family coming in from Texas, a Selena song was an absolute must.  Leading up to the wedding Greg and Courtney found themselves enjoying a lot of nostalgic songs from the 90s, so we made sure that there was a healthy sprinkling of boy bands and “Oh! I remember this!” moments.  Weaving nostalgic throwbacks into modern hits and wedding favorites kept the guests on the dance floor all night.

Courtney and Greg hired a Mariachi Band during their cocktail hour, so Bela Sono provided DJ services just for their reception.  We also used uplighting to really bring out the best of the Army and Navy Club architecture.  We set the lights to a beautiful rose gold color during dinner (which accented the place settings), and then moved into a colorful fade during dancing to enhance the energy in the room.  Even though it was still daylight when the reception started, the lighting added a warmth, and really made the dance floor a lot of fun later during the party.

You can see from the fabulous highlight film that Courtney and Greg’s guests truly enjoyed themselves, and it was a rocking party until the very end for their sendoff!  We are so thankful to have been part of this celebration, and love reliving it through the film.  We hope you enjoy it as well!
