It can be overwhelming to evaluate all of the great venues in Leesburg, so from our experience we’ll highlight a couple of our favorites…
Located in the heart of historic downtown Leesburg, Birkby House is a beautiful space. Built circa 1770, the estate includes multiple spaces to stage your perfect wedding. Between the Main House, the Carriage House and the tented courtyard (pictured) Birkby House can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated reception.
Our experience at Birkby House in the past has been wonderful. The event space feels historic and charming with all of the brick, but softened through the use of beautiful linens in the tent. That contrast makes for an incredible pallet to build your wedding look. You might choose to accent the space with our elegant uplighting solutions, or simply let the natural beauty shine.
The bottom line is that Birkby House offers a historic look and feel that doesn’t just seem authentic, it is authentic.
The “new kid on the block” in terms of wedding venues, but you will not be disappointed when you visit Stone Tower Winery. This place is stunning.
Pro Tip – Schedule your tour when the tasting room is open, and you can enjoy some fabulous Virginia wine during your visit.
The primary ballroom space is indoors, so you can benefit from weather proofing your wedding at any time of year. However, you’ll still likely want to enjoy your wedding ceremony outdoors enjoying the rolling hills of Leesburg with one of the most stunning views in Virginia.

At Stone Tower Winery you’ll enjoy all of the amenities of a modern wedding venue, but with all of the charm that the Leesburg hills have to offer. Make sure you check out this venue.
This is another great venue to add to your list to check out. River Creek Club doesn’t feature a historic feel like the first two venues on our list, but first class service and experience the whole way. The main ballroom space features a vaulted ceiling and gorgeous chandeliers. These give it a very unique look and a lot more character than a typical ballroom space. The view from the ballroom or the adjacent patio highlights the well manicured golf course looking out over the Potomac.
Whether you’re a golfer at heart or not, River Creek Club should be on your list of Leesburg wedding venues to check out.
We’ve had also fabulous experiences at Rosemont Manor, Breaux Vineyards, Oatlands Plantation and more. The reality is that Leesburg Virginia is almost overflowing with terrific venues, too many to list in detail.
